David H. Ellison, AIA is registered architect in Ohio and New York and a member of the American Institute of Architects. He is Past President and Co-Founder of the Ohio and Lake Erie Chapter of the Institute of Classical Architecture and Art. He serves on the Historic District Subcommittee of the Gates Mills Architectural Review Board. David and was co-Chairs of the AIACleveland Historic Resources Committee. David currently is Chair of the AIACleveland Zoning Task Force.

He studied architecture and received his professional degree from The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art in New York City, studying under distinguished luminaries including John Hejduk, Richard Stein, Bernard Tschumi, Ricardo Scofidio, Tod Williams, Kenneth Frampton and others.

David is the principal of The D. H. Ellison Co., a small architectural firm specializing in traditional and historicist work and preservation. He brings a commitment to design excellence to his projects. He is an active member of the historic preservation community and is involved with several neighborhood groups. David is a founding member of the Cleveland Architecture Foundation and is the Board Secretary / Treasurer.


John H. Roush, AIA, LEED AP is an Ohio registered architect and is a member of the American Institute of Architects, and the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards. He is a graduate of Case Western Reserve University with a Bachelor of Architecture degree. John has practiced architecture in Cleveland for over 40 years and has extensive experience in project development for new construction and renovation for a variety of building types. John has performed project management, design, planning, code review, ADA compliance, contract document production, and contract administration services on a wide range of project types including commercial, medical, educational, residential, performing arts, historic preservation and governmental projects. John’s varied experiences with all the phases and types of projects bring a valuable perspective to issues involving the built environment. John is a member of the AIA Cleveland Historic Resources Committee, and the Anderson Center for Accessible Living. John volunteers at Cleveland Grays Armory and is assisting their renovation initiatives. John is a board member of the Cleveland Architecture Foundation and is Chair of the Archive Initiative.


William T. Eberhard, AIA, IIDA is an award-winning architect and interior designer who has practiced in Cleveland since the 1970’s after attending the University of Cincinnati and the Architectural Association School of Architecture in London. Eberhard is known for bringing to the NEOH marketplace the practice model that integrates architecture and interior design. Bill has lectured and published widely with projects and essays in over thirty national publications.

Bill’s work has been honored with over 40 design awards from local, state and national organizations. Bill has been active in the American Institute Architects as a juror of design awards programs at state and national levels, and he has been a speaker at AIA state conventions and local programs, including Cleveland 2030 and Building Envelope Council Cleveland programs upon whose board he also sits. Bill has been a Board member at Vocational Guidance Services for 25 years, is a founding member of the Cleveland Architecture Foundation and is the Board President.

James Streff, AIA graduated from Kent State University in 1983 with a Master of Architecture degree. After working for a number of Cleveland firms, in 1990 Jim was a founding member of Hengst Streff Boyko Architects, now HSB Architects and Engineers. HSB’s full-service practice has been centered on commercial real estate with projects in the workplace, retail, institutional and hospitality/ restaurant markets throughout the United States.

A registered Architect for over 35 years, Jim’s experience includes multiple projects for Cigna Insurance involving new workplace strategies and multiple projects for Morgan Stanley where HSB acted as the national accounts space manager. Jim has served on the Board of Directors for the Volunteers of America of Greater Ohio, where he has also served as Board President and on the City of Cleveland Heights A.R.B.

Zachary Miller, Associate AIA is an architectural draftsman and designer actively pursuing licensure at HSB Architects + Engineers in Cleveland, Ohio. He is passionate about architecture, development, urbanism, and especially architectural research. He received his Bachelor of Science in Architecture and Master of Architecture from Kent State University - and completed his graduate degree while studying at the Cleveland Urban Design Collaborative. He is excited to bring awareness of Cleveland's Architectural presence to the broader community.
